You may also make time for a visit to the colourful fairs, and to relaxing walks in the pine woods or along the large, dammed lake of Rio Mondego at Stª Comba Dão, where three rivers are joining, or to go to one of the several thermal baths in the area.

A visit to the winehouses in the Dão region, a daytrip to Coimbra, the oldest university city, and Viseu with its many ancient buildings are a few of the many possibilities.
